Biography:
Began Dancing in July 2002 for physical health improvement.
Was introduced to the dance via close friend Gareth Thorbourne.
Pursued the dance and scene with intention to learn as much as possible.
Met DJ Renegade in 2006 a world reknown DJ who found Bboying in the first wave of the 80's. Learnt much of the foundation of the dance through him, kept learning and never looked back since. Has since taken workshops with Ken Swift, Freeze, Poe1, Alien Ness, Focus and others to develop a style based as close to the true essence of the dance form as possible. Loving and connecting with the music, always remaining a student at heart and having an open mind are Chris' methodology to consistent development in the dance. Chris's Key fundamentals are to Practice to Battle, Travel as much as possible (nationally and internationally), know James Brown thoroughly as it was James that created the funk which gave birth to Hip hop Music and as a result, the culture itself & more than anything. Learn the foundation of the dance in order to learn how to be Yourself. As Flea-rock [Skill Methods] said ''Foundation is the Key to Creativity''.
Chris believes that Learning the foundation is like learning the rules of the dance, ''If you dont learn the rules, you can't learn how to break them, creativity in bboying doesnt exist without knowing what bboying is''. Since 2006 Chris has competed on a national basis in cities such as Edinburgh, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Brighton, Birmingham, Cardiff, Newport, Reading  as well as London and others. He has also competed on an international basis in countries such as Scotland, Wales, France, Germany, Spain, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and the USA and continues to travel as a method to learn and improve all the time.
